Cherry Polymers is part of a multi million pound investment in the plastics recycling industry by the Cherry Plastics Group and is now one of Irelands leading plastic recycling companies and operate a plastic bottle sorting facility and a HDPE wash plant, based near Crumlin, County Antrim.

The sorting plant is the largest and most advanced automated plastic bottle sorting plant in Ireland, it uses state of the art NIR (Near Infra Red) and Colour Sorting technology to sort plastic bottles by polymer type and colour. Our HDPE Wash Plant is one of the largest and most technologically advanced wash plants in Europe.

Cherry Polymers provides closed loop recycling of plastics giving local councils and MRF's Material Recovery Facilities full traceability of the waste plastics from their dry recyclables.

Cherry Polymers operations take plastic from the waste streams and reprocess it into material suitable for use by plastic manufacturing companies, one of which is Cherry Drainage Pipes, a sister company of Cherry Polymers, who use the material in the manufacture of their wide range of plastic drainage systems. These products are supplied into the Agricultural, Civil Engineering, and Construction industries throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland.
